This fall, under the light of the autumn moon, discover a secret corner of Franklin Park Zoo that is home to a mysterious, mystical world. The Midnight Zoo surrounds visitors with never-before-seen creatures from the farthest realms of the imagination. Wind your way through the darkness as the woods come alive in this 360-degree immersive experience. Elaborate costumes, masterful design, and moonlit surprises await you in this haunted habitat featuring over 20 fantastical creatures ranging in size from tiny to over 8 feet tall.
Bring the family for a night of spooky fun and experience puppetry like never before!
Meet Dame Huxby and the infant Higgoth, performed by Honey Goodenough, and a band of guardians lead by Lord Midnight, who have pledged to protect and preserve strange and unusual species.

Handmade Puppet Dreams showcases the fresh voices of independent puppeteers who embrace film as their medium for individual expressions, to build their visions, and breathe life into their dreams, while exploring a spectrum of live-action puppetry styles. Independent filmmakers and puppeteers explore their craft specifically for the camera in this handpicked selection of family friendly puppet short films. Since 2005, Handmade Puppet Dreams has been screened nationally, where it received a UNIMA Citation of Excellence, and internationally in France, the Czech Republic, India, United Kingdom, Puerto Rico, Israel, and Prague, where is was awarded "The Best Puppet Film" at The World Puppet Festival

This showcase of short-form puppetry features marionettes to papier mache mayhem. These artists will inspire, delight and redefine conventional notions of puppetry. Featuring the work of Honey Goodenough, Brodrick Jones, Leila Gaznavi, and Harry LaCoste. Like a pandemic, the passion for puppetry is spreading! Catch the fever!
